Spring has quickly given way to summer in Shanghai. Before too long, the plum rains will bring their annual deluge, followed closely by the steamy heat of August. This is now, arguably, the best time of year to get out and go biking.
Bikes were once king of the road in China. Over time, they took a back seat to the power of the automobile. Now, Chinese cities are seeing a renaissance in the use of bicycles, spelling a positive trend for things to come.
